The History of Tracey House

In July1983, Tracey House was first registered as a care home, offering exceptional nursing home services. Originally a private residence rich in local history, it was built by Mr. W. Tracey of Bovey Tracey. The home has hosted many dignitaries and has become a cornerstone of senior care, standing as the Jewel in the crown of the Tracey family.

The Tracey House was originally opened for seven residents, providing essential nursing home services. This number grew gradually with the addition of the 'new wing' and then the coach house and cottages, enhancing the care options available.

By 2018, Tracey House had expanded to its current size and was notably recognized by CQC for providing Outstanding nursing home services and senior care to its residents.
