We cater for individual requirements, preferences and needs at every meal. Two main sittings (lunch and supper) are always cooked on the day, using fresh, locally sourced produce. The food is always served attractively in a warm and pleasant dining room and at different times if Residents wish or visits dictate.

High food standards

The high standard, variety and quality of food at Tracey House is the result of employing 3 cooks who are highly experienced at bringing different ideas, styles and flavour to our meals. We work to The Food Safety and Management Procedures and Food Hygiene Regulations, using the Safer Food Better Business (SFBB) outlined by the Food Standards Agency. One of our cooks has Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety. All our staff hold Level 2 Food Safety Certificate

We encourage Resident’s suggestions for menu /recipe ideas and regularly vary the menu. Examples include: fish and chips in paper, curry nights, outdoor picnic lunches, high teas, celebrating Burns night, pancake day and bonfire night.

We serve tea/coffee in both lounges with biscuits and freshly baked cake.

There is a complete choice of evening beverages. Facilities are always available for the Residents to make drinks in their own rooms if they choose.

Tea Time!

Residents can invite relations, friends or visitors for a meal. Guests will always be offered a tray of refreshments either in the Residents room or garden if desired.
